Check out the new addition to our family! She joined the "pack" on Feb. 25, 2000. Jesse was born on Nov. 15, 1999, so she is 13-16 weeks in these photographs. Jeb, our first weimaraner, will be 6 years old this year on June 29.
The two have become good "pals" after Jeb's initial shock of having another dog in the house, although he still likes to get away from the pup once in a while! She is full of energy and likes to play with Jeb all of the time, whether he wants to or not! Jesse mimics Jeb and wants to be accepted by him. Although Jeb wants Jesse to leave him alone some of the time, you can see that he has taken on the role as her "big brother" and enjoys playing with her. He can be just as much as an instigator as she is and many times steals her toys so that she will chase him.
Although we had not planned on bringing a new dog into the family, Jesse has been a pleasant surprise.
