Mike Hall (left) is "captain" of da Dudes! He has been on the Mt. Lebanon
Academic Games team for the past couple of years and is a real
go-getter. Mike like to win!! You might not be able to tell from the
picture, but Mike is into power lifting. He loves computer graphics
design and the Pittsburgh Steelers (hmmmm, but in what order?)
Chris Gorski (second from left) enjoys soccer, cross country and biking.
His mom is a flight attendant for United, so wherever you are in the
world, he may drop by some time! Chris is pretty darn good with
computers and has already set up his own business!
Ian Miller (second from right) is a 9th grader at Mt. Lebanon High School
and is hoping that some of the problems that are MathMagic challenges
can be solved using the computer. You see, Ian can progam in C
( betcha ya can't say that 5 times really fast!) and hopes to use what
he knows to help his team and his NTP submit great solutions! Ian claims
he is not the most interesting person around, but others think differently.
Ian says he basically lives for those wonderfully violent games like DOOM.
Dan Dacosta (right) is 16 and a junior at Mt. Lebanon High School. Dan
is an aficianado of music--well, he does play the bass and has recently toyed
with acoustic guitar. Maybe we can link up a little of his music some
day on the web! Dan wears a golfer's hat with safety pins in it--a sort
of trademark of Dan. He insists it is NOT a fashion statement, but only
that it helps keep his hats together! Dan hangs out with his friends and
goes to concerts (at least when he is not working). Dan is pretty
excited about the whole Mathmagic scenario and wants to meet some
"globals" on the net!
