Jeff's primary research interests are in theoretical machine learning, although he has dabbled in several other areas including quantum computing and human-computer interaction. In addition, he has significant experience as a professional software developer, with a focus on Web and engineering/scientific applications. He is the author of the textbook, Web Technologies: A Computer Science Perspective.
