THE DICKENS FELLOWSHIP
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Welcome To The Pittsburgh Branch of the
Dickens Fellowship
The Pittsburgh Branch is currently on summer hiatus and will not meet again as usual until October 2008.
2008 - 2009 Preview
We will continue to follow Dickens through parts of America when we read and review The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit (1843-1844).
The Pittsburgh Branch proudly reissues
The Old Curiosity Shop Cookbook
A limited quantity of the cookbook, originally published in 1943, is available for a total of $6.00 a copy (includes postage).
The cookbook features the culinary contributions of our branch's founders and is generously flavored with sprinkles of Dickens' prose.
Inside, you'll find recipes for such Dickensian fare as Steak and Kidney Pie, Angels on Horseback, Lemon Curd, Brittany Cream, Yorkshire Cheesecake, Wassail, and, of course, Christmas Pudding!
To order, mail a personal check or money order, payable to "The Dickens Fellowship," for your desired number of copies to
